Fun-loving and consummately confidant Drew Dawson may be a twin to his sister, but they are nothing alike. Faye is responsible and dependable, but nevertheless she loves her carefree brother fiercely. When Drew reveals that he has had a vision (not unusual) and his choice leads to a man’s death (highly unusual), Faye kicks into sleuth mode. Together they must identify the mysterious falling man and convince him of the imminent danger to his life.
What an interesting twist… a guy who has visions of two different outcomes for critical choices he has to make in life. The book does not delve into the origin of the visions. Instead, it focuses on solving the potential crime before it happens. Personal relationships are compromised as lies are handed out freely in the hopes of saving the life of a stranger. Faye’s frustration is palpable as a budding romance is jeopardized by her deceit. A menacing antagonist with dubious motives adds to the plot. And a touch of humor is smattered about, keeping the story from feeling too heavy.
