The artwork by Mykhailo Ridkous is colorful and fun, giving children a lot to discover throughout the story. There are so many adorable moments told through the pictures. I love the page where the dragon is caught lounging in his enclosure wearing the little girl’s hat and a goofy grin, and also the determined look as she bathes the growing dragon…such a fierce expression on such a tiny little girl! Delightful and bright, My Ginormous Bearded Dragon is a sweet and lively book that animal-loving kids will gleefully reread time and again.
