Never-DEAD by Ann Greyson

What is the worst case scenario when the zombie apocalypse happens? Probably it is being stuck in an airplane when an infected person wakes up next to you! That is exactly how the action begins in Never-DEAD. The plane goes down and pandemonium ensues. As a young aspiring model, Jenna finds herself in the midst of the chaos. First her car is totaled. Next, zombies attack and she is on the run for her life. Her only option to survive is to make her way to her sister, Hannah, who is working on a cure. Months pass and time is against the two as the zombie virus rages on.

Of all the characters, Hannah tries to maintain humanity in the face of a cataclysm more than others. She remains kind and calm to her coworkers, not even forgetting Christmas tidings! Jenna proves to be surprisingly resilient, though the odds are against her. The writing, however, features some persistent issues throughout the story. For example, it is generally written in past tense but occasionally shifts awkwardly to present, even in the middle of a sentence at times. While this book could be described as an amazing early draft of a great story, it still needs a bit of work to reach its full potential.

If you want a classic zombie book loaded with action, Never-DEAD will satisfy your craving!
