We all want a stable and secure future. But are we all doing things to achieve that prospect? Taking Action for a Better Tomorrow provides an in depth assessment of the world’s current situation and outlines actions that we can take to improve the outlook of our society.
In some ways, this was a difficult read. Many of the paragraphs are overly long. And while the wordings of the opinions expressed in the book are articulate and intelligent, the book at times feels like Jeremy Boggess’ personal manifesto. However, it can’t be denied that Taking Action for a Better Tomorrow is filled with insightful observations about our society. For example, “We live in a world of the World Wide Web, but we still maintain a narrow, myopic view of it,” or, “Apathy is more dangerous than any direct opposition because it is a void, and a void has no force to contend with.” Throughout the book, astute commentary is provided regarding many of the concerns that we face today, including globalization, loss of culture, freedom and education, to name just a few. Without suggesting any specific political, social or religious movements, there are also recommendations for how we can all affect change in our world, as the book’s title suggests.
Jeremy Boggess has written a thoughtful and rational assessment of world conditions, along with a path toward improvement. Taking Action for a Better Tomorrow will make you think deeply, and perhaps change your ways to better cope with our ever changing world.
