Up for Air by Christina Berry

A riveting story that has no shortage of sizzle.

A heartfelt comment at a funeral urges twenty-nine-year old Ari to make the best use of her time, to truly cherish the people around her. And up till now, that’s what Ari thought she was doing. As she begins to examine the fine line between happiness and unhappiness, Ari realizes that she wants more out of life. More experiences, more sex, more of everything. And so she goes for it. She REALLY goes for it. It starts with something small, a cigarette, then slowly progresses to other items on her mental checklist including getting drunk and, with the consent of her open-minded husband, extramarital experimentation. But these trysts take a toll on a marriage and on a woman’s emotions. Add to the mix an unexpectedly deep connection and you have one difficult to navigate web of complicated relationships.

Up for Air is a screaming hot uncensored novel about a woman who takes a break from her stifling marriage and her sheltered life. On the heat scale, this book is like one of those shiny orange habaneros. It has quite a bit of sensuality and just the right amount of story between the heat to add some flavor. I really enjoyed how self-aware Ari is as she navigates new experiences and changing feelings. Christina Berry’s pointed writing style is refreshingly insightful, leaving eager readers with far more than just a string of saucy bedroom scenes. Fast-paced and smartly written, Up for Air is a riveting story that has no shortage of sizzle.
