Remember Me When the Moon Hangs Low is a perfect fusion of romance and suspense.
After a failed decade-long marriage, Lana Ross is finally ready to move on with her life. She has a fantastic job as a magazine editor for Boulder Essence. Out on assignment for an article about tourism in Colorado, Lana meets the devilishly handsome and wildly charming Vincent ‘Roadking’ Romano. Roadking opens Lana’s eyes to love after she had spent so long in a loveless relationship. Just as her relationship with Roadking is coming together, smaller things in Lana’s life start coming apart. A snake appears in her living room, somebody has been sneaking around her house, tires are slashed, and Lana may have a stalker. When things turn sinister, a lone white rose left on her doorstep is the least of her worries.
Cynthia Clark has a deft hand when penning a romance novel. The blossoming romance is tender and heartwarming rather than gratuitous or overly graphic. From old-school acquaintances to bitter exes, the antagonists are sufficiently creepy and demented, making for a real page turning story. Clark has added “an elaborate soundtrack of diverse music” to add to the delightful sensory experience. Boulder Girl, Remember Me When the Moon Hangs Low is a perfect fusion of romance and suspense unfolding in an explosively entertaining and surprisingly emotional book.
