The Frontline: Season 1 Episode 1 by Michael Santino

The action and suspense move as quickly as a Bugatti on a fresh tank of gas!

Special Agent Christopher Odacio counts himself lucky to have landed a career in the FBI and enjoys his small town life with his wife. But everything in Kole county isn’t as peaceful as its country ambiance might suggest. Odacio is advised about an explosion at a small local diner. He teams up with the lead investigator, Brett Bonner, and they try to piece the evidence together. The influential and hardworking Assistant District Attorney was killed in the blast, but was it purely a coincidence? A matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Kole county seems to be a hothouse for a growing domestic terrorist group dubbed American Dawn. Odacio and Bonner don’t see eye to eye on much of anything, including the threat posed by American Dawn. Bonner is abrasive and insensitive whereas Odacio is short-tempered and opinionated. Can the two men set aside their differences and their personal biases to get to the bottom of a crime group that may threaten more than just Kole county?

The Frontline: Season 1 Episode 1 could not be more appropriately titled, as this fast paced thrill ride reads like an intense TV drama. The action and suspense move as quickly as a Bugatti on a fresh tank of gas! Santino doesn’t shy away from hotbed social and political issues either, as racism, vaccinations and armed citizens are as common on the page as in real life. If you couldn’t care less about a good night’s sleep, grab this pulse-pounding, cliff-hanging first episode of your new favorite serial, The Frontline.
