Gloomwalker is a superb debut novel from Alex Lang. Kyris is street smart yet betrays his tender side in the way he cares for his sisters. The world he lives in is vividly conveyed yet bleak in it’s grittiness. This book is a fantastic read for dark fantasy lovers, but approachable enough for those without a lot of interest in the genre. The story is well thought out and the action is unrelenting, making it easy to overlook the few typographical errors and thoroughly enjoy the story. Alex Lang is a true wordsmith. Gloomwalker is an exciting adventure that will leave you cheering out loud!
